Origami Ox for the Year of the Ox

Chinese New Year is just around the corner. Lunar date January 1st (正月初一) is on this Friday February 12th. Normally this time of year I will be in Malaysia celebrating with my family, but I can’t travel back this year for the obvious reason. Instead of having our tradition Chinese New Year reunion dinner, we are going to do a virtual dinner on CNY’s eve.

I hope the Year of the Ox will bring more strength and power for all of us. And let’s hope that the pandemic of Covid 19 would be under control soon and everyone could enjoy a fulfilled year of 2021.

Cute and easy Origami Ox from a single sheet square paper.

Above are some cute and easy origami ox design I came up with to get you celebrating the year of the Ox. It’s folded from a single sheet square paper. If you are using colour paper with white on the back, you will get white colour horns.
